Cerita Orang Tua Membawa Anak ke Ragunan: Menikmati Melihat Hewan yang Biasanya Hanya dari YouTube

Taman Margasatwa (TM) Ragunan remains a popular holiday destination for locals. On the last day of the school break today, the park was bustling with visitors, as observed by detikcom on site on Sunday (5/1/2025). The average visitors were mostly families, consisting of parents and children. Some visitors were seen sitting and laying out mats under the trees.

One of the visitors was Nasrul (45) from Kalimalang, East Jakarta. He took his child on a trip to Ragunan to make the most of the last day of the school holiday before it returns to normal tomorrow.

“It’s the last Sunday. Yes, the end of the school holiday. Taking them (the children) here during the holiday,” Nasrul said in the area of TM Ragunan, Jakarta. He mentioned that he brought his child to Ragunan to introduce them to animals, as his child had only seen animals on TV or YouTube.

Another visitor, Ratna (32), who arrived early in the morning with her child and husband, also expressed the intention of providing educational experiences for her child. She highlighted the opportunity for children to see the animals at Ragunan directly.

Ratna’s elementary school-aged child often views animals through gadgets. Therefore, she brought her child to the park to see the animals in person, as they usually only see them on a smartphone or computer.
